Dr Fakhra Masroor, Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon is an experienced Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon with 17 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, infertility and laparoscopic surgery. She has 8 years’ of experience working as a Sr. Resident /Registered Medical Officer (Sr. Surgeon) in Medical Colleges of West Bengal (NRS Medical College and CNMC, Kolkata). She has obtained DNB qualification (Obs & Gyn) from B.R. Singh Hospital, Eastern Railway, Kolkata.
She has gained immense experience in handling complicated high-risk obstetrical and gynaecological cases. Her vast experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology has given her exposure in handling a plethora of complicated cases such as high risk pregnancies, cases with gynaecological complications and laparoscopic surgeries. Her mission is to provide total satisfaction to patients. She has attended many workshops and conferences in medical education and keeps herself updated with the latest knowledge and surgical skills in the fields of gynaecology and laparoscopic surgeries.
Her training in laparoscopic surgery was under Dr. Das Mahapatra, Kolkata an extremely famous Laparoscopic Surgeon, as well as Dr. Dipak Limbachya, a master laparoscopic surgeon from Ahmedabad. She has been also trained by the world famous Dr Osama Shawski in operative hysteroscopy.
She has been trained in Advanced USG in Reproductive Medicine and basic subfertility, especially TVS (Trans-vaginal sonography) under the renowned IVF Specialist Prof B N Chakraborty of IRM, Kolkata.
She takes keen interest in the application of preventive measures for women's health such as weight control, personal hygiene, screening for cancer as well as vaccination for cancer prevention.
Her understanding of the medical needs of women is second to none and she treats her patients with a holistic view in order to provide them with the best medical treatment at affordable costs.
